ROUTINE (NON-URGENT APPOINTMENTS)

To book a routine (non-urgent) appointment, please contact us on 01822 613517. 

We can offer appointments face-to-face or via telephone.

We would also highly recommend completing one of our online contact forms, found here.

Please do not be surprised when our care navigation team ask for further information, this is to help them safely manage prioritise and enables them to provide you with the necessary advice or book you into the most appropriate appointment.

URGENTS

If you have an urgent matter that needs on the day advice, please call us as close to 08:30 (if possible). We will arrange for the duty doctor to call you back within the hour and can make the necessary arrangements to see you if this is clinically appropriate. 

Nursing Appointments

All nursing appointments are available via telephone or face-to-face. Some nursing appointments, including blood tests and cervical smears are bookable via the NHS App. 

Saturdays

We are open alternative Saturdays from 08:00-12:00, for pre-booked appointments only. We do not accept incoming calls on a Saturday. 

Walk-ins

Tavyside does not operate a routine walk-in service. If your matter is urgent, please either contact us via telephone, attend a local minor injuries unit or in life threatening situations, dial 999.

If we need to see you, we will book you into an on the day slot.

Home Visits

The surgery offers home visits to patients who are either housebound or too unwell to attend the practice. If you require a routine home visit, please contact the surgery on 01822 613517.

If you need an urgent home visit, we ask, where possible, to ring us as early as possible in the day so we are able to arrange a clinician to attend. 

Our usual visiting times are between 13:00-15:00.

It is important to cancel your appointments if you no longer need it or are unable to attend.

Group clinics
