More about Dr Holden
Dr Holden first joined the practice as a GP trainee in August 2015. After completion of training she enjoyed working in the team so much she returned as a Salaried GP in July 2017, before becoming partner in January 2020. She leads in areas of Respiratory and Cardiovascular health and is part of the minor operations and injections team. Her current interest is around improving the practices sustainability through Greener Practice initiatives and implementation of some of her Lifestyle Medicine training to help patients and staff.
Dr Holden says, ‘I love working at Tavyside, we have such a lovely, committed and friendly team, I truly enjoy working with everyone together for our patients.’
Outside of work Dr Holden enjoys spending time with her young family, often dragging them up tors or finding the best local beach spots for some paddleboarding. She also volunteers in the local mountain rescue team with her husband, so can be found out on Dartmoor in all weathers looking for lost walkers.

*Disclaimer: Although GPs may appear to work only part of the week, this does not indicate they are not working full time. A full-time equivalent is defined as 37.5 hours per week, and a GP working three days a week often meets this requirement. Additionally, GPs frequently work beyond regular hours to address emails, patient correspondence, professional development, and attend multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings.
