More about Dr Coldron

Dr Jo Coldron joined Tavyside Health Centre in 2013 and became a partner in 2015, progressed to senior partner and is now the Clinical Director of West Devon Primary Care Netwrok  which is made up of Tavyside, Abbey and Yelverton surgeries.

Dr Coldron is originally from Yorkshire, trained in Glasgow and has worked as a doctor all around the world including outback Australia and Antarctica, where she lived for 18 months and met her husband.

Dr Coldron says “I feel so honoured to work as a GP serving the West Devon community and hugely value the relationships I have built with so many of our patients over the years. I love coming to work and greatly admire my colleagues who serve the surgery in all their varied roles.”

Outside of work, Dr Coldron enjoys running and cycling around the incredible Devon countryside, often with her Marine biologist husband, their two teenage children and two very silly dogs.

Clinic Timetable for Dr Coldron

*Disclaimer: Although GPs may appear to work only part of the week, this does not indicate they are not working full time. A full-time equivalent is defined as 37.5 hours per week, and a GP working three days a week often meets this requirement. Additionally, GPs frequently work beyond regular hours to address emails, patient correspondence, professional development, and attend multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings.
